THE PATCHIES™ SUN SYSTEM

PATCHIES™ was created from love, loss, creativity, compassion, and the belief that light can still exist even after life changes us.

At the heart of PATCHIES™ is the idea of bringing “sunshine for the senses” through creativity, connection, sensory experiences, art, intuition, comfort, and meaningful moments that help people feel grounded, understood, inspired, and at peace.

Founded by Rebecca Mowery, who holds a PhD in psychology, PATCHIES™ blends creativity, sensory experiences, intuitive guidance, live art, artisan teas, and holistic inspired products into immersive experiences designed to engage multiple senses at once.

Rebecca is also AuDHD, meaning she is both autistic and ADHD. Having lived with sensory overwhelm, emotional intensity, masking, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and profound personal loss, she deeply understands the importance of comfort, creativity, atmosphere, emotional safety, and sensory regulation in everyday life.

PATCHIES™ was created in honor of Rebecca’s daughter, Ashley Anne, lovingly nicknamed “Fluzzypoo,” after her tragic passing at just 21 years old. Ashley’s kindness, compassion, creativity, and ability to bring warmth and light into the lives of others became the inspiration behind the PATCHIES™ Sun System and the deeper meaning behind “sunshine for the senses.”

What began as Rebecca’s personal way of coping with grief and surviving unimaginable loss slowly evolved into a sensory based approach centered around creativity, comfort, atmosphere, emotional connection, and engaging the senses in gentle, grounding ways. Art, music, scent, color, texture, tea, storytelling, and creativity became part of the healing process and eventually grew into the experiences and products now shared through PATCHIES™.

Many PATCHIES™ experiences combine multiple sensory elements including color, scent, texture, atmosphere, creativity, sound, taste, storytelling, and artistic expression to create calming, memorable, and meaningful experiences.

Rebecca works intuitively and creatively, often incorporating a combination of conversation, symbolism, artistic interpretation, intuitive impressions, sensory awareness, card decks, energy inspired artwork, and emotional insight into her sessions and creative work.
