One Week Away: Patchies Studio Launches February 1st

We are officially one week away from the launch of Patchies Studio, and I can hardly believe I’m writing those words.

📅 Patchies Studio launches February 1st—a date that holds deep meaning for me.

February 1st is the anniversary of my daughter’s passing. This year makes four years.

For a long time, this day carried the kind of weight that words can’t fully explain. And to be honest, grief doesn’t simply disappear—it changes shape. Some years it’s quiet. Some years it’s loud. But it always matters.

This year, I wanted to do something different.

I wanted this day to hold something good again.

Something hopeful.

Something built from love.

That’s what Patchies is.

Why Patchies Exists

Patchies Studio was created from a place I never expected to be standing in—a life shaped by loss and the long process of learning how to keep going.

After losing my daughter, I experienced a kind of grief that felt like it touched every part of me—my heart, my mind, my routines, my sense of safety, and my future. I was surviving, but I wasn’t whole.

And one day, I realized something:

Even when life breaks us into pieces…

we can still be stitched back together.

Not the same as before—

but still strong.

Still full of love.

Still here.

Patchies is built on that truth.

Because so many people—kids and grown-ups—walk through hard seasons carrying big feelings they don’t always know how to explain.

Patchies Studio is here to make room for that.

Starting With Meaning

Launching on February 1st isn’t something I chose randomly.

I chose it because I wanted to honor my daughter in a way that feels like love in motion—not just love remembered.

I will always carry her.

And I will always miss her.

But Patchies is one way I can turn the pain into purpose… and create something gentle for other families who need it too.

Something that says:

💛 You are not alone.

🧵 Your feelings matter.

🩹 Healing can be soft.

A Special Release: Book Two Arrives on Launch Day

On February 1st, I’m also releasing the second Patchies book—a story that is close to my heart for a different reason.

This book is dedicated to children who are navigating parental separation, split homes, and the confusing emotional world that can come with family changes.

Because even when parents love their children deeply, separation can still feel scary, painful, or uncertain for a little heart.

This story was written for:

children who miss one parent when they’re with the other

children who feel stuck in the middle

children learning what “two homes” means

children who need reassurance that love doesn’t disappear just because a family changes shape

And honestly—this book is for parents too.

For caregivers trying their best.

For families trying to heal.

This Launch Is More Than A Date

Patchies Studio launching on February 1st is not just a business moment for me.

It’s a milestone of love.

It’s a declaration of hope.

It’s a way of saying:

Even after grief… we can build something beautiful.

Even after loss… love still creates.

Even after heartbreak… we can stitch meaning into the pieces.
